As Senior Vice President of Highwoods Properties in Nashville, Brian Reames is responsible for managing the company’s local portfolio, comprised of 4.5 million square feet. Highwoods is the largest office landlord in Nashville, named NAIOP Nashville’s 2017 Developer of the Year. The company owns, develops and manages Class A properties in BBDs (better business districts) throughout nine market divisions.
Noteworthy buildings within Nashville include Bridgestone Tower, a 30-story, skyline-altering high-rise in SoBro for Bridgestone Americas that delivered in August 2017, The Pinnacle at Symphony Place totaling 519,633 square feet downtown and the U.S. headquarters for Mars Petcare at Ovation, part of a planned, 145-acre, mixed-use development in Cool Springs. In Brentwood, development is complete on the 113,000 square foot fully-leased Virginia Springs l, while the neighboring Virginia Springs ll development is breaking ground. Just recently in the Gulch, Highwoods began development of a 552,800-square-foot, $285 million headquarters complex for Asurion. Delivery is expected in Q4 2021.
